DUIs and Your Driver License in the State of Utah

On July 1, 2009, new laws went into effect for those arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol (DUI). If you've been arrested for DUI, you only have ten (10) days to request a hearing with the Driver License Division, otherwise your driver license will automatically be suspended for 120 days if the DUI arrest is your first, or for two years if the DUI arrest is your second or more.
